I have been working with Alvin for about 3 to 4 months and it has been a really good experience. I wish I had found him sooner. I do Muay Thai and kettlebells with him. He has really good attention to detail and is incredibly good at pacing your progress. My cardio, strength, flexibility, and mental fortitude has gone through the roof!

I've been training with him for over a year now, multiple times a week, and it's honestly been one of the best decisions I've ever made for my health and fitness. Alvin is an incredibly well-rounded trainer. He doesn't just focus on one area; he provides a comprehensive approach that covers all the bases. My training with him includes Muay Thai (kickboxing), which is always a high-energy and exciting workout, strength training (awesome Kettle Bell stuff) that has noticeably improved my overall strength and physique, and sports conditioning that has boosted my endurance and agility. I highly recommend Alvin and Fight Flow Fitness. I train kickboxing and kettlebell with Alvin and have been extremely happy with both. He is knowledgeable, professional, and prompt. I've been working with him for over a year. He shows up at my door, on-time every time, with a positive attitude. Carrying all of the equipment we'll need for the workout. He's very flexible on workout structures and has helped cater a program that fits my exact needs. He's also been very flexible on times. Let me start off by saying Alvin is a very detailed instructor. He points out important details I don't always see, notice, or even be pay attention to. He's really good at giving clear instructions that are easy to follow which helps me understand WHY and WHEN I should engage in it. All of Alvin's workouts are planned and executed with intention. Each has a detailed purpose from warm up, to pad and contact work, and finally to the cool down and ending talk. Alvin also has a great understanding of nutrition. He understands the importance of caloric deficit, which foods to eat, and which diet will best suit your body type and lifestyle. Alvin always reiterates that no matter what workouts you do or what diet you're on, it's not gonna matter unless you're consistent. He keeps everyone accountable to achieving their goals in real time with the right balance of motivation and accountability. He's helped me become more flexible and mobile with a variety of deep and awesome stretches I wasn't exposed to in my years of competitive sports. He emphasizes the importance of not just flexibility, but the mobility and health of all muscles and tendons to improve on my overall physical quality of life. Alvin will help you achieve any fitness goal - whether you want to compete, lose weight, or just have a great workout. He has a great balance of pushing and encouraging you. He's overall a down to earth dude and it was a pleasure to learn from him! The Bay Area misses him. Vegas has got one hell of a trainer! Don't miss out on learning from him.
